Morgan Fairchild was considered a sex symbol back in the day. The actress was influential in showing a television version of a sophisticated and rich woman who knew what she wanted and was willing to do whatever it took to get it.

From 1973 and 1977, Fairchild began her acting career featuring as Jennifer Pace in the soap opera, "Search for Tomorrow." The star later appeared in soap operas like “Paper Dolls,” “Flamingo Road,” and many others.

She also featured in movies like “The Seduction” and “Red-Headed Stranger.” On March 21, 2023, Fairchild showed her fans what she looked like at age 73, with a slimmer body after experiencing weight loss.

In the Instagram post, she was seen having dinner with Norman Ornstein, whom she described as a "great friend," his wife Judy, and their son Daniel, at the Della Terra Restaurant. A fan thought the image was a great one, adding:

The person was happy that the actress enjoyed herself, noting how the outing looked fun with great-looking food. Someone else thought the image was beautiful and the star looked "absolutely gorgeous with some spiciness."

The person promised to visit her and Cathryn - who made them laugh - when they could and wished her a wonderful spring, while another follower said Fairchild looked "fabulous." Days before, on March 11, 2023, the actress shared a photo where she was seen with her colleagues.

Fairchild revealed that she ran into Barbara Eden and Alan Nevins while having tea. The day after bumping into her colleagues, the actress uploaded a photo of her posing with some veterans she honored at an SDP awards event.

The star's appearance in her 2023 pictures wasn't how she was not long ago. Fairchild's weight gain had nothing to do with her eating habits but a lot to do with something wrong in her home.

Why Did Morgan Gain Weight and How Did She Drop It?

In 2020, Fairchild, then 70, revealed that she'd lost 30 pounds after gaining weight suddenly a few years before. The "Falcon Crest" star shared that she managed to lose weight by being “very disciplined” in her Ketogenic (keto) diet.

However, bad eating habits weren't guilty of the weight gain; instead, it was the black mold infestation in her home, unknowingly affecting her body weight. The "Seduction" alum explained how the infestation affected her, saying:

Fairchild recalled knowing that many of her bronchial issues were due to the mold but didn't realize it was the same culprit for the weight gain. Finding out what had caused her problem left her shocked, but she quickly took action, with her stating her challenges as such:

Luckily, she came across someone eating a keto meal at her doctor’s office. The star then joined the program and started losing weight massively, with the diet having other celebrity users like Halle Berry, Vinny Guadagnino, and Kourtney Kardashian.

Meals in the diet are high-protein but low-carb, and they cause the participant's body to break fat and protein for energy - a process known as ketosis. Fairchild enjoyed the program but warned participants to stick to it, or the weight would be gained back.

The actress confessed that managing her new diet was easier since she was home during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The "Friends" star noted how she didn't have to cook for anyone else or worry about getting lots of groceries because she hardly ate.

The celebrity said she was sticking to the program to try and lose more weight amid quarantine. She revealed that she didn't cook much and mostly had pre-packaged foods, but now she had someone in her life and was living a fulfilling life.

Who Is Morgan’s Partner, and What Is Her Life like Now?

In 2020, Fairchild opened up about her long-term partner, Mark Seiler, then 69. The star described the businessman as a "wonderful guy" and confessed, “We’ve been together 33 years now!” and added:

The couple started dating in 1980, didn't have any children together, and the actress said she was unsure if they'd ever marry. However, Fairchild did explain that their relationship was a "long-term commitment," and they'd been together so long that they might leave it as is as they were both getting older.

From 1967 until 1973, the star was married to her only husband, Jack Calmes. Seiler was in a nursing home, and during the lockdown, the celebrity was alone, with her sharing how her boyfriend was well taken care of where he was.

The actress was grateful they hadn't had COVID-19 cases at the nursing home. Fairchild said she missed her boyfriend and joked she felt "fortunate" that she wasn't quarantined with Seiler because many people complained that they were ready to divorce after being in close proximity for a long time.

Instead, she was alone with her cats and passed time with a routine. Each day she woke up and did housework, did chores, exercised, went for a walk, ate right, and watched the news.

The star talked with her boyfriend over FaceTime, and it was "nice." Even though they were physically apart during the lockdown, the pair did make up for it by seeing each other and going out on date nights.

In May 2022, the actress shared an Instagram photo of her and Seiler out for a lunch date of iced chocolate at Bluestone Lane. In August 2021, the pair were seen sitting outside after he'd joined her for a walk to enjoy the summer sun.

The couple enjoyed a lunch date and the great weather at their favorite restaurant, Wood Ranch, a month before. That same month, the pair went out for a date night by having an early dinner and sitting outside while fully vaccinated against the virus.

Together for 36 years in 2023, the duo visited the Wood Ranch again that month, the first time in over a year, with Fairchild taking Seiler out. For Valentine's Day in 2020, the pair enjoyed another outing.

The actress might be approaching 80, but that didn't mean she was slowing down her work. In 2023, Fairchild was set to star in “The Nana Project,” a comedy alongside Nicky Whelan and Nolan Gould.
