Snowpack levels across the state are currently 12% of normal.The deepest snowpack in Nevada was last observed atDefiance Mines with asnowpack depth of 10”,about 216%of normal when compared to it's5"average depth for this time of year.Big Meadow,perched at an elevation of8,249 ft.,is currently experiencing some of the coldest temps inNevadawith air temps last recorded at62 degrees.
More snowfall is expected this week, and areas likeBear Creekare forecasted to receive up to1"of snowfall in the next 5 days.
