“My husband on a whim decided to stop and grab a quick bite while we were on our way to visit family. He came across Empanada Master randomly while doing a quick search. I'm so happy we stopped here. Their Puerto Rican owned, and the empanada's were sp delicious. Fried but not oily, and the filling was savory and delicious. We got beef and cheese and pernil. The pernil was perfect. Soft, tender, and flavorful, and then beef and cheese wasn't greasy or overly salty the way some places over season their ground beef. Absolutely stop and pick these up if you're in the area.”

“Owners were extremely accommodating for our private event. They helped out with every step of the way and the staff was great. Food was delicious; we had penne vodka and Chicken picatta. Drinks were served perfectly. Plenty of games on the TVs at the bars. Would highly recommend them for an event, or just a meal/drink at the bar.”

“Anne from Bourbon Street is the real deal. The best service Ive received ever, anywhere.she did a top notch job catering and serving our large private party This place is fortunate to have her.On a completely seperate note, there is a blonde bartender there that any place would be fortunate NOT to have. I believe she goes by Ash. She’s incredibly incompetent at her job and even more incredibly rude. Friends and I have had multiple negative experiences with her. She shouldnt be a bartender/server anywhere because she truly SUCKS at her job.”

“Celebrated our 50th anniversary May 4th and it was amazing to say the least. We had 32 guests and Beka the owner did everything possible to make this a culinary memory along with excellent service that paid attention to every detail. Honorable mention to his lead staff member Joe who made everyone feel special. The food from start to finish was enjoyed by all. Many of our guests will be visiting Monroe again & again to sample La Vera Cutina’s delicious menu. Thank you Beka and staff for a wonderful evening.”

The place was so busy when I came in and I am vegan, gluten free & also trying to stick to a low carb and fluid diet and I was so confused on what to get. “Our first time visiting Monarca and it was excellent. I chose the cammarones (shrimp with mushrooms and tequila) with the charro. (The charro!!! ?) So good! We ordered the queso which was spicy and very tasty. Margaritas were so good. We all left stuffed and satisfied. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I loved the decor, the seating and ambiance. I'm surprized to see some of the comments here. People do have to realize a new business doesn't just open and run like clockwork. It takes time for staff to gel and get a system down. Its unrealistic to not expect that a brand new establishment needs time to work out kinks. That's why Im glad we waited to visit until now because we were very pleased and will be back!! “We're new to the neighborhood and are delighted to discover this outstanding bakery!Came in yesterday and bought 2 dozen of the filled cookies (raspberry, apricot, chocolate & caramel) to treat my staff with. The cookies vanished in moments and everyone thought they were delicious!The khachipuri with za'atar and potato bureka were delicious. “Near perfect dining experience, entrees were a plus as the broccoli rabe with sausage and linguine puttanesca were outstanding with much flavor. Pasta cooked perfect. Desserts were delicious. Chef missed with the bruschetta as it tasted old and not fresh. Service was excellent but dining room was very cold and drafty it is January though. The restaurant decor and cleanliness was perfect. Parking outside was perfect scenario. Will definitely return and recommend to others.”

“We often go here to get our pizza fix and have had no issues until today. Their hours say they close at 11 pm but when we tried to order around 8:30 to 10 pm, they have not answered. Thinking we got the time wrong we checked several times and it still says 11 pm they close. Very disappointed.”

“My 3 year old son likes to order food. He has some delays and ordering pizza makes him so happy. The owner (I think) usually answers the phone and LOVES when he calls to order. And treats him like an absolute celebrity if I bring him to pick it up! He gave him free cookies a couple of times or a free soda. The food is great don’t get me wrong but they have a customer for life because of how they treat their customers (especially the little ones).”
